ELLIPSIS

I started this blog the first night I came to London. My idea was to write about my new life here so as to let family and friends get an idea of it. I wrote mostly to my grandmother, who had just learned to use the internet and who enjoyed virtual company. She couldn’t quite understand the concept of a blog, so I started writing with no particular receiver in mind. My grandmother recently passed away and I have now changed my writing language into English.

I write because I like it. And because it’s a good opportunity to re-think things I have experienced. That’s why the blog started with the name i-do, then it became re-do (I was in love with Derrida, still am), then SiSi (my nickname in London), then …prickprickprick… and now Ellipsis. The naming is arbitrary.
